Our lodges are warm and comfortable places to relax after a day of skiing or snowboarding. With plenty of space for guests to mingle in, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Guests can enjoy refreshments in the lounge, soak in the hot tub, read in the Creek Side Lounge, or take a late afternoon guided trip on a snowmobile.

The Lounge

Relax and talk or take part in a game of pool, foosball or darts in our fully licensed lounge. We serve beer on and off tap plus we have a full range of spirits. Chatter Creek proudly serves a wide variety of British Columbia wines, as well as, a selection of international wines. Chatter Creek is proud to import Chatter Creek wine! These award winning wines are imported from the Washington area and have been specially selected for our guests' to enjoy. Please review our wine list.

Massages

After skiing, sometimes the muscles need some attention! At Chatter Creek, you can enjoy a massage from our in house massage therapists. We have three full time professionals to look after your massage needs. Massages are available for 1/2 hour or one-hour sessions. The cost is $55 per 1/2 hour and $90 per hour. We recommend that you book a massage at least two weeks prior to arrival, to ensure that you get your preferred time. To book massages please complete our online booking form.

Hot Tub and Sauna

Chatter Creek is pleased to offer a large hot tub and a new sauna for our guests to enjoy! The hot tub and sauna are a great place to relax after a satisfying day on the mountain. Don't forget your bathing suit to enjoy this experience!

Internet Access

Chatter Creek provides guests with free high speed internet access. 

Last season it became obvious that the increasing demands of smart phones, and other devices were leading to problems with internet access, bandwidth capacity, etc.

To respond to this situation we have increased our available bandwidth, and implemented a system to ensure that each guest has access to an equal share of that capacity.

We are excited to be able to offer our guests 50 MB of bandwidth per day.

As a guide, 50 MB is normally more than sufficient to enable you to:

· Check e-mails

· Browse the internet

· Text message

Though we have had very limited reports of guests maxing out on bandwidth, here are some pointers on how to ensure you are not disappointed.

· Download large files before you arrive (the heliport in Donald has wi-fi that you can use to do this, if you forget before you leave home).

· Turn off automatic updates on your phone.

· Turn off automatic downloads of newspapers, etc.

· Avoid video-conferencing, or streaming (Skype, FaceTime, YouTube, etc).

· Use the phone available at the Lodge to stay in touch with the folks at home.

Drying Outdoor Clothing

A very important aspect of any skiing and snow boarding trip, is drying all your wet gear before the next day's adventure. Chatter Creek uses a forced air drying system to gently dry clothes and boots without deforming custom liners. Each guest is assigned an individual locker, to store and dry their outdoor gear, during their stay.

Rent a Snowmobile

Some of our guests like to rent one of our high performance snowmobiles and take a tour of the area with one of our qualified staff members. This can be a big highlight for guests since it is such a unique way to experience the terrain of Chatter Creek. This service is available for $150 per hour.
