Where Are We?

Chatter Creek is situated deep in the back country of British Columbia just where the winter storms from the West first meet the Canadian Rockies and bury them in some of the deepest, lightest driest powder snow in the world!

 

The closest town to Chatter Creek is Golden which is 100 kilometers to the South East. Golden is located on the junction of the Kootenay Rockies Powder Highway (Hwy 95) and the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) near the British Columbia and Alberta border and is home to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Golden is a 3 hour drive from Calgary and a 7.5 hour drive from Vancouver.
