Ski Rentals

Chatter Creek offers a great selection of high end rental skis. If you like easy turns and cruising effortlessly thru the mountains, we have the skis for you.  K2 snowboards are also available.

 

Rentals are available for $25 per day.

Guests can bring their own skis or, if they choose, can rent powder skis from us. Rental skis are available in lengths ranging from 165 to 190cm (with 2 pairs of 150cm) and include poles. Based on your height, weight and skiing level, our guides will choose the ideal rental skis, the night you arrive at the lodge. A limited amount of snowboard rentals are available.

K2 Pontoons: 160-130-120

Rocker,and a tapered tail creates a ski that planes effortlessly. The unique design enables the ski to become light and extremely agile in tight terrain for a ski with these dimensions. The Pontoon is primarily built for powder but does surprisingly well on hard pack due to the standard sidecut underfoot. This ski does for powder what shaped skis did for groomers.

 

Heli and Sugar Daddys

With a huge waist and large turning radius, the Atomic Sugar Daddy and Heli Daddy is just the beast you want for floating through big turns and letting it rip in the steep and deep. Portly 99mm waist and lightweight design lets this ski float and turn with ease in powder and crud alike. Beta 4 profile ensures maximum torsional rigidity, uncanny edge grip and controlled tip-to-tail flex. Preformed and sculpted microcellular densolite composite core is lighter and livelier than wood, reducing swing weight for effortless handling. Graphite base tunes easily and glides well over all snow conditions.

Some prefer the wood core classic feel of the Volkl.

 

K2 Snowboard GYRATOR

One 162cm and one 168 cm. Although designed specifically for the deep stuff, the Gyrator's Hyper Progressive Sidecut and Multi Superlight Core keep it maneuverable and lively in many conditions. Please reserve ahead if you are interested in renting a snowboard. If you are renting a snowboard we recommend bringing your own bindings.
